The SIXTH annual Island Folk Festival is a wrap. Each year seems to get better and this was no exception. Once again, fine performances under the big tent along with the many festival attendees made for another successful festival.
Thanks to the organizers, volunteers, and musicians for making this another memorable experience. See you next year for the Seventh Island Folk Festival!

Have we met?
Welcome to Cloggeroo – the Island Folk Festival! We are Atlantic Canada’s freshest folk music festival. Held each summer in the small beachside town of Georgetown, PEI, Cloggeroo offers music from around the Atlantic provinces, across Canada, and even internationally. And don’t for a second think that folk music isn’t exciting enough for your tastes. Cloggeroo has the widest variety of folk-inspired music you can imagine, from rock to reggae, from salsa to soul, and even some hip-shakin’ boogie-woogie late night dance parties.
Go ahead, close your eyes and picture the best of the folk fest scene: sunny afternoons lounging on the grass to the wispy sounds of old-timey roots; friendly food vendors cooking up your supper while you grin and nod to the sounds of the blues; and balancing your micro-brewed craft beer while stomping your feet to some hot Maritime bluegrass. Now, add in the convenience of the fun-filled festival campground, the bliss of a refreshing swim at the beach, and the thrill of a dazzling late-night fireworks show, and you’re starting to get a feel for Cloggeroo. Come on out to Georgetown this summer and make Cloggeroo your new favourite summer music festival!
